Be aware of the keyless car thieves:


Keyless cars may well be the all the rage, but they are reasonably easy for smart thieves to steal. With the special equipment they possess they can hijack the signal from the owners key fob, even if it is in a purse inside the house.

To prevent such thefts,owners can actually buy bags made of a special metallic fabric that blocks the fob's signal. Other less expensive methods include wrapping the fob in tinfoil or dropping it in an empty soft drink can.

In the long run , car manufacturers are likely to figure out methods to prevent the key fob from being activated by thieves. But until then its best to  beware and take preventative measures.
