No more dead car batteries:

by Peter Petterson

If a car's key fob malfunctions, the owner might well think its a case of a dead battery. But for car owners who left their vehicles in a supermarket carpark in Bristol City in Gloucestershire, England, dead batteries weren't the problem in this case.

Many of the vehicles couldn't be locked or unlocked and alarms kept on unexpectantly ringing. The problems were happening to dozens of car owners and no one has been able to figure out  the cause  of the problems.

Recently installed traffic cameras were thought to be interfering with the signals, but there was no proof. One store customer likened the situation to the Bermuda Triangle.
