Associate Minister Alfred Ngaro threatened community groups who were critical of the National Govt...
PM Bill English
NZ Politics:A little-known, inexperienced but recently promoted Associate Minister forgot his party lines when he opened his mouth and bragged about taking a heavy hand to community groups seeking government funding.
At a National Party function Alfred Ngaro threw heavy verbal punches at people he perceived critical of the National government.
Bag us, then watch out sunshine, he threatened!
Even the much respected Salvation Army were in Mr Ngaro’s dog box.
Those terrible Sallies had obviously been been saying too much about homelessness, or to quote him, "running riot" over the issue.
PM Bill English didn't appear to censor his gormless minister who threatened withdrawal of government funding.
